Member for Bega Dr Michael Holland said “Last night, a historic building in central Moruya was destroyed by fire.
The shop fire in my community overnight is very concerning, while I don’t wish to speculate on the specifics as it is under police investigation, I do want to assure the community that the Minns Labor government has before the parliament some of the strongest toughest Tobacco legislation in the country.
– Fines over a million dollars –
Gaol terms of up to 7 years –
And the powers to close illegal operators down.”
