Expressions of interest now open for Eurobodalla Regional Hospital arts opportunity

South NSW Local Health District is now seeking expressions of interest from locally connected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and community members to contribute to a major artwork for the hospital’s main entry, ahead of its 2027 opening.
The Arts and Culture program for the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital is about more than the artwork you’ll see on the walls, it’s about creating a healing environment for staff and community.
There are two ways to get involved:
Project artist
1 artist will be selected and paid a $13,000 commissioning fee to attend three workshops and develop the final artwork concept.
Community member involvement
Elders and local community members are invited to participate by attending 1, 3-hour workshop and receive $300 for their time and travel.
(Please note: community members representing an organisation in a paid/employee capacity are not eligible for this payment.)
This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a space that will care for our region for generations.
Read the terms and conditions before applying.
