Full Steam Ahead to Turn
Moruya Purple on 25 Nov
The Rotary Club of Moruya, in partnership with NSW Police and Domestic Violence Committees, is rallying the community to turn Moruya purple on Tuesday 25 November 2025 in support of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
Rotarians, Friends of Rotary, local businesses, and community organisations such as the CWA and Round Squared are joining forces to raise awareness and take a stand against domestic and family violence.
From purple shopfronts and community displays to Rotary information stalls at the Moruya Markets, the town will proudly show its support for a safer, more respectful community.
Moruya Rotary Club’s Youth Director, Rhonnie South said, “It’s inspiring to see so many people across the district step up for such an important cause. Together, we’re sending a clear message — Moruya cares, and Moruya stands against violence.”
