Community feedback sought on Riverside Park and Reserves

Eurobodalla Council wants to know your ideas, hopes and dreams for Moruya’s Riverside Park and surrounds.

As part of new planning for the area, Council wants to know what is working well, what’s not working at all, and different possibilities for the area.

For example, would a river pool be desirable, is there enough exercise equipment and is it in the right place, or is there wasted space that could be put to better uses?

To gather community views and ideas, Council is holding three in-person sessions:

  • pop-up stall to be held at Moruya markets on Saturday 19 July 2021, 8am-1pm
  • drop-in session to be held on Monday 21 July 2025 at Moruya Library, 5-8pm
  • pop-up stall to be held at SAGE markets on Tuesday 22 July 2025, 3-5pm.

People unable to attend can share their thoughts through an online survey.

Feedback will be used to develop draft plans that balance the area’s unique setting with ongoing opportunities for public recreation and events.

These draft documents will then be put on public display for comment by the community. For more information, visit Council’s Moruya Riverside Park and Reserves Plan of Management and Master Plan webpage or contact Peta Brooks on 4474 7366.
