Moruya District Hospital Auxiliary funds Ultrasound for ED

Moruya District Hospital Auxiliary has funded the purchase of a Mindray TEX 20 Ultrasound System at a cost of $89,610.30 for the Moruya Hospital Emergency Department. Emergency Department Staff thanked the Auxiliary for the Ultrasound System which will deliver point of care Ultrasound to patients attending the Emergency Department at the Hospital. The Mindray System will provide increased functions, especially cardiac ultrasound. The Ultrasound System is used in all resuscitations, trauma admissions, cardiac arrests, gastroenterology admissions and cannulations.
