The NAB bank branch in Moruya will close permanently on 12 June. All banking services will be withdrawn, including the ATM, and customers will need to use the Batemans Bay branch for any face to face banking.
NAB customers will be able to use the ATMs at the Commonwealth Bank and the IMB Bank, without incurring any fees. Many banking activities can also be done at the post office.
Like the other big banks, NAB have reduced the number of branches across the country, generally offering the explanation that it is a business decision as people move to online services.
The two staff at the NAB Moruya branch have been guaranteed they will have continued employment with NAB if they wish.
